The Catalyst looked at Adriana Shepard. She held her arm, gritting her teeth through the pain, and looked down at him. "These are my choices?" she asked. the Catalyst was silent a moment, and said "There is a forth option." A computer console rose from the ground in front of Shepard. "If you could decipher the Reaper Code, it would override my command and shut us down forever," the Catalyst said. Shepard started down at the him. 'How would I be able to-" suddenly, her comm system started to crackle in her ear.
"Shepard! Shepard!" It was Tali. She was barely getting through from the Normandy. "I was going through Legion's files!" She was practically screaming into the microphone. "the Reaper Code was in his files. I deciphered the code! It's something we've always had, something The Reapers would never let organics have! It's----ee---m--" and she was gone.
She could feel herself starting to black out. She staggered over to the console and looked at the screen. all that was on it was a blinking line. Shepard thought of all her past missions. She thought of the friends she made along the way, and her lover Garrus. finally, she realized what the code was. Right before her consciousness faded, she typed in "Freedom." A electronic wave was projected throughout the solar system from the Crucible. All around the galaxy, Reapers fell from the skies, and froze where they were in space. Gunfire seemed to stop at once.
The Catalyst started to flicker. he glanced over at Shepard. "You've succeeded. You now have the mass relays and our technology at your disposal, and we won't be here to restart the cycle anymore, but be warned: Synthetics will destroy all organics." Shepard, her breathing heavy, looked over at him. "If that ever does happen, we will fight to the end, knowing it was our own choice." Then, she was out.

Adriana Shepard-Vakarian walked out of the Villa onto the beach in her new sundress, her six month pregnant belly poking out. She looked down at her husband Garrus, who was sitting in a patio chair in his swimsuit. "Watch out! Medical miracle coming through," she said, and laughed. She set a pitcher of Iced tea on the little table, then sat in the chair next to her husband. "How are my little human-Turian babies doing?" asked Garrus. "Oh, they're just fine. I didn't think Biology would work with us with one child, let alone twins," laughed Shepard.
"Yeah. At least we have some peace and quiet in our new home. No more award ceremonies, no more interviews, and no more having to watch my new wife being poked and prodded by every single doctor in the galaxy to see how she was able to have hybrid kids," said Garrus. "Yeah, it's great. Oh hey, Tali called. she wants us to meet her and her new boyfriend for lunch at a new restaurant on Rannoch next week," Shepard said. Garrus thought aloud, "wonder who the lucky man is."
Shepard phased a moment and said, "Well, it's Kal'Reegar." Garrus sat up. "No way! I thought he died on Palaven!" he exclaimed. "Nope, they found him near the comm tower. He was barely alive. Tali is actually the one that found him. She was by his side all the way back to Rannoch," Shepard said. "Well I'll be damned," laughed Garrus. "I guess I shouldn't be surprised. They both seemed to be eyeing each other." "Yeah, they were practically made for each other," said Shepard wistfully. Garrus took her hand and leaned over. They kissed for a long, tender moment. "I love you Garrus," she said. "And I love you, Adriana," Garrus said. They held hands while starring off into the sunset.

Lola
May 2205
“Lola Shepard Vakarian, out here. Now!” My mother shouts from the living room. Full name. I’m in trouble.
I walk out of my room to find my mother is still in her armor, her pistol strapped to her hip. The afternoon sun beams on her back through the windows, casting her figure in dark ominous shadows. She crosses her arms over her chest, her mouth nothing but a straight line. She is really mad.
“Hi, Mom. What’s up?”
“Your classmate, whom they had to help down from the rafters of your school.”
“Oh, that.”
“Yes, that

Shepard and Anderson confront the Illusive Man, and either kill him or convince him to commit suicide. They activate the master control panel for the Citadel, opening the arms for the Crucible to plug into the Citadel.

ME: Surprise
Shepard was not surprised to find Garrus away from the control console in the main battery when she walked in. It had been a bit of a shock at first, but she was glad he had figured out that he didn't need to be calibrating that damn gun all the time. The only downside was having to hunt all over the ship for him when she wanted his company, although he had taken a liking to the lounge area, making that her usual first stop when looking for him.
This time, however, she quickly realized that it wouldn't be needed. A glanced showed that he was over at the workbench that he been installed on the right wall. He'd half turned to see her come

The ending to Mass Effect 3 really disappointed me. It seemed like no matter what choice you made, you got the same ending: Shepard died, The mass relays blew up, a ton of aliens are trapped on earth now, and for some reason, the Normandy was running away. The DLC endings really helped, but I still wish there was a "Happily Ever After" button.
So I thought, what if the Reaper code mentioned by Legion on Rannoch could be used? instead of destroying everything, it simply shut down the reapers? so, this is what I came up with, hope you like it!
Everything in this story belongs to and is copy-rited by BioWare. I don't own any of this.
And if you like this, Read my new story based off of this ending (except Thane):
